I'm just not sure...

When I buy something and it doesn't last through the season, I get really ticked off like someone stole from me.  That's why I don't shop for clothes at Target anymore and haven't been into New York & Co. since I had to throw out pants and a shirt that were barely sewn together.

However, some of my friends have  had better luck so I've decided to give them another shot.  Maybe. 
Some of their stuff looks pretty cute, but I'm just not sure.  Was I just really unlucky in 2008, are these clothes ok to buy? 

Mostly, I'd like to see if I can pull of this graphic yellow dress without looking like a bat.
