At first, I wanted some fun statement shoes but couldn't find anything comfortable enough. Then I got practical and found these matte silver slingbacks by Naturalizer. The heel is only two inches high, which is fine with me, and there is lots of padding so I'll be comfortable all day. Plus, I can wear them to everyone else's wedding this year. For $49, I think I made a good choice.
They come in white, pale gold, silver and black. Check them out at Dillard's if you're in the market for cute, somewhat sensible shoes.

Beautiful shoes! My wedding shoes were my "something old," although I'd only worn them once before. It made me happy to wear them to other functions after. I'm also a huge proponent of comfortable shoes for that day--I love that you found cute ones!
