I also tried on the Curvy Trouser Jean but they didn't have the size I needed - also very cute and super forgiving. (Go down a size if you order these - they run big).
And if you're in the market for a suit, you need to place an order now because the Herald pinstripe jackets and pants are 40% off and you can get both pieces for $130. I love how the jacket is cropped (great for us shorties) and the pants have a very slimming wide leg that looks modern. I stood in the store trying to think of a reason why I need a suit, but my best excuse was "maybe I'll decide I don't like my job this year" and so I left without out.

I love a good sale! I actually got that exact jacket in the mail a week ago... I went down a size from what I normally wear but its huge and boxy... and the sleeves appear cropped in the picture they show but they aren't and are actually too long =( bummed x1000

hookay so those pants -- woah! I've never tried their pants on before but maybe i'll get a chance to when I head back to LOFT to say goodbye to my pretty blazer!

Hmmm, maybe I looked at a different blazer in store... this one was cropped.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the disappointment, though. I almost feel lied to when I get something in the mail and it's all baggy and wrinkled. Lands End Canvas is the worst about that - their packages arrive looking like a truck ran over them and the clothes are all too big until you figure out their sizing.
Seriously though, check out the jeans. I did a little dressing room dance I was so excited. :)
