The guest posting continues this week with Jennifer from the new and delightful blog Blue Eyed Belle. She's got great style and I love the outfits she puts together, so I'm really excited that she's here to post about making an LBD go the extra mile:

Hi everyone! I am Jennifer from blue-eyed belle. A big thanks to Haley for having me today! One of the things that I think each girl should have in her closet is a versitile dress. How many times have you screamed the ever-so-popular phrase, “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!” ? My guess is that it has happened more times than you would care to admit.
Having a classically styled dress in your closet is a necessity. I love the idea of having a colored dress that you can wear on all occasions. However, for this posts sake I have chosen to demonstrate with a LBD. I don’t think there is anything more classic and fabulous than a LBD. Paired with the right accessories you can wear one dress to work, to a wedding, a lunch date, and an evening out with your girls or guy.
The first step in having a versitile dress is to find the dress. This may sound silly, but you would not choose a sparkly, short cocktail dress to pair with your blazer to wear to work. Also, you want to select a dress that looks best on your body. If you are going to be wearing this dress on more than one occasion, perhaps during the same week, you want to look good!
Once you have found the dress you can look at what you have to pair it with or you can buy something new! Sometimes there is nothing better than a good shopping trip so you might as well use that energy for something productive than buying some killer purple heels that you think you will wear all the time, but they just sit in the back of your closet. Pairing your newly acquired dress with the right accessories can add style and an amount of chic-ness to your daily wardrobe. Most importantly, have fun!
