I am seriously addicted to Pinterest. I love seeing all the gorgeous things that I probably wouldn't have discovered on my own, especially the art. My taste skews towards hand drawn/painted illustrations and colorful abstract art, and I have discovered some amazing prints lately. Some are affordable, and some cost as much as a Kia. Here's a glimpse at what is now on my radar thanks to my constant Pinterest surfing:
What piece is your favorite? Have you discovered any artists deserving of more attention?
Etsy and Pinterest have been such great marketing boosts for talented and creative people. Of course, my favorites are my husband and Matte Stephens. I also really love fun graphic screen prints.

I already follow you, but I LOVE that art- especially the first one. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteI love love love Etsy. I feel like I'm "buying local" even if the shop owner lives across the country. I love this guy's art -- http://www.etsy.com/shop/mattsart -- although I haven't bought anything yet. I'm on pinterest too. I'll add you.
ReplyDeletePinterest has become my biggest procrastination tool! I pinned the Maya Hayuk print you have a while back and I also love Michelle Armas. Not only because she is my madre, but because she has a pretty awesome new body of work out, I'm going to mention Patricia Underwood (http://punderwood.com/index.html).
ReplyDeleteI am now following you on Pinterest :) I am sort of new to the whole pinning thing, where do you find most of the sources that you pin? Blogs you read, stumble, other boards...I feel a bit goofy asking but I'm still trying to figure that whole thing out, haha
ReplyDeleteWOW...#2 and #5 are making my heart go pitter-patter...I love the splashes of neon! And I'm always up for a great geometric design...totally awesome...
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are also 2 and 5! And thanks for your sweet comment about followers--I couldn't agree more. I've told myself I'll stop blogging if it ever becomes a chore or not fun and honestly I'm happy to have ANY followers, but when I saw how close I was to 300 the other day and also the 3 month mark, I thought it would be a fun little goal to make and share with my readers!
ReplyDeletelove love love all these, especially number three, it seems so personal and pretty!
