The retail gods were smiling on me this week, because I managed to get a new dress and shoes for $65. I went to return a suit I bought on clearance from White House Black Market (jackets don't fit me... it's sad) and came across these shoes for $39! They really comfortable, and once I decided to call them vegan instead of fake leather I convinced myself that they're a worthy addition to my closet
Then, I went to meet my cousin for a facial at the Aveda Institute (you must do this if there's one in your city) was running early so I stopped in to Nordstrom Rack. I was browsing the clearance racks when I saw a flash of cobalt blue. I pulled this Tahari by ASL dress and saw that it was my size and only $25. It fits like a glove, so I couldn't leave it there!
excuse the crappy phone picture...
I plan to wear the dress and shoes with my turquoise bubble necklace (similar to below) and brown leather clutch, kind of like this:
Ok, now I'm even more excited. Have you been to Vegas? Any tips are appreciated!
Vegan, ha. I love it. Have a great trip!
ReplyDeleteYou'll love Craftsteak and Mystere. And you'll look classier than about 99% of the women you'll see there. DH and I were in LV in May, and we went to dinner in a very nice restaurant, where we saw a man having dinner by himself with 3 gorgeous, scantily-clad Asian women who were Definitely On The Clock if you catch my drift. Even the waitstaff thought he was over the top gross.
ReplyDeleteLove those shoes - have a fab trip!! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great dress and shoes- you're going to look wonderful! Can't wait to hear all about it- I've never been to LV.
ReplyDeletegreat steal on those shoes! have a wonderful trip! xo jillian:: enter to win a $100 shopping spree!
ReplyDeleteBarsola here, I still can't comment on your blog! Anyway, I recently bought a dress of the same color and very similar shoes! The dress is for a wedding and I wore it for our anniversary ($28 at Target), the shoes were to match a belt I had so when I wear a certain outfit, it matches ($32 at DSW) and a necklace that matches the dress perfectly also from Target ($12). Similar look, almost the same prices you paid. Just wanted to share cuz it struck me as funny/odd.
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! I've never been to Vegas, but am planning on a trip for my 25th this fall. Have a blast!
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are great. Love that color blue!
ReplyDeleteThat blue is going to be gorgeous on you! You're going to turn heads all over Las Vegas. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a blast--I would love to see a Cirque du Soleil show!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun! You are going to be one Hott Tamale! (c: I'm sure the hubby is *really* going to appreciate it...and does it really get any better than looking fabulous and knowing you got a smokin' deal on the whole shebang??? (c:
