Catching up: 5 things

I'm still catching up from my days away, so here are 5 thoughts worth sharing with the internet:

1. I am always amazed at how kind and thoughtful people can be.  I got so many nice comments and notes while I was away, and it really made me smile during a tough weekend.

2. After posting about work totes, I found this one and love it.  It's the new front-runner.
3. I showed my husband the bedroom inspiration post below, and he likes this option the best.  Of course it's the one that I was least excited about, but the easiest to imitate.  I think I may bring my gray zebra pillows into the bedroom and start from there.

4. I got a True Blood graphic novel for an early birthday gift and embarrassed at how much I like it.

5. I am buying champagne and strawberries specifically so that I can make this drink for my 28th birthday on Friday.  I don't feel old yet, but we'll see how I feel next week.  :)

  2. Cheers to your birthday! 28 is still a baby. ;) Think of 50 years from now, 78, and have another glass of champagne!

  9. So sorry to hear about your funeral. Thinking about you and your family.

That drink looks amazing--I make something similar and add some St. Germain and it always receives rave reviews. ;)
