Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fun weekend. I spent mine traveling to Houston for a quick visit with family and friends, and eating my first DQ blizzard in at least 5 years. It was as good as I remembered!
As Christmas draws nearer, I've started to think of what I might ask for and looked to my
Pinterest boards for themes that I may not have realized when I tagged each image individually. Something that become obvious was that I love me some art deco (inspired) jewelry.

I'm really drawn to jewelry with interesting details, which is probably why this style appeals to me so much. The only problem is that a lot of the pieces are very ornate and out of place in my day to day office outfits. However, I dream of passing down a great collection of (costume) jewelry to my future daughter, so I think I'm going to keep collecting and adding to my existing collection of a bracelet, earrings and necklace (only one is antique) even if I only wear each piece a few times each year. Unfortunately, the prospect of buying vintage jewelry on eBay is scary since I don't know how to spot fakes and a lot of the pieces I see in shops are really expensive.
So, do any of you collect anything special? And is anyone else a big fan of vintage jewelry - how can I learn more?
