As much as I love styling clothes online and shopping, sometimes I have to push myself out of my own comfort zone and make myself try something new. This season, I decided to go crazy (ok, slightly more stylish) and try some red pants. After much consideration, this pair from Loft fit the bill perfectly:
I scored them for about $41 last week, and they're now nowhere to be found online. The cut makes my curvy self look much thinner, especially when I roll them up a bit above the ankle bone. And in case you're thinking that you can't pull off red pants, here are some ways that this colored pant novice is branching out:
These aren't my exact pants (LOFT, please photograph things without models!) or my exact J.Crew boat neck but this is the look I'm wearing to my (casual) office.
I also like pairing my pants with my leopard henley from LOFT (similar cut, but slightly darker print than the blouse in the set) and brown and gold accessories.
I also plan to wear my pants on our upcoming Thanksgiving trip, since they're soft and stretchy.
Hopefully this gave you a little bit of courage - is anyone else ready to branch out?
