Since so many of you were interested in the conference, here's a very quick recap:
Friday night we attended a clothes swap hosted by Swap.com and I scored a lace pencil skirt from Rocquelle of Consider Me Lovely and a gray silk tank from Tara of San Antonio Pearl. I also got to pick an item from the Lulu's lounge, and grabbed a cobalt cardigan with gold buttons, which just makes me happy. Plus, Lands End Canvas gave everyone a gift card, and I can't wait to spend it!
My conference loot: Skirt - swapped // Cardigan - Lulu's // Silk tank - swapped // Emery board - Buyosphere // Mirror - Blowfish Shoes// Flats - Dr Scholls // Lemonade - Honest Tea // Spotted Throndson tote - FashionablyMarketing.me and Aldo // Coasters - Purse and Clutch
On Saturday morning, we attended a mentoring breakfast which was basically a free-for-all gathering where veteran bloggers fielded questions from the rest of us. I got some great advice from Julie of Orchid Grey, Kendi of Kendi Everyday, Macala of FashionablyMarketing.me, Veronika of Tic Toc Vintage, Molly of Smart Pretty and Awkward, and Caroline of Lucky Magazine. I'm really inspired by the potential in this little blog, and you'll be seeing some big changes in the coming months.
Saturday was spent shopping along South Congress (I couldn't resist stopping by the Kendra Scott boutique) and then getting ready for the Posh Party, hosted by Poshmark. The party itself was a lot of fun, and I met even more nice people and had lots of wine and cupcakes from Delish. I even did a little shopping at the Peacock Plume booth, and scored a gorgeous necklace that I couldn't wait to wear today.

On Sunday, I had am amazing brunch with some new friends and then headed to the Blanton Museum of Art for a series of panel discussions featuring big names in the blogging world. We were all inspired by Kendi's keynote speech, and listened to valuable tips about creating (not just curating!) great content and how to dream big but still live your life offline. I took so many notes and reaffirmed a lot of ideas that I needed to hear spoken by someone I admire. I got meet J from J's Everyday Fashion and she was so sweet to hang out and answer my questions for several minutes while I babbled and was in awe of her.

All in all, it's very inspiring to meet people who've accomplished your goals. It's also wonderful to meet like-minded women, because despite what the internet may suggest, blogging is still a fairly unique hobby and I don't come across many others who are as into it as I am. I can't wait for next year!
