5 Things Friday

This is my last post as a 28 year old.  I'm sure things will be very different around here next week when I'm a mature lady of 29.  Until then, here are 5 things worth sharing on the internet:

1. I've always been wary of jeggings, since I do not have ITC (Inner Thigh Clearance).  However, sometimes you'll be sitting down for hours on a plane, or you just want to be comfortable with your riding boots and long-ish shirt.  For those times, I am now a fan of Fade to Blue jeans.  My super stylish cousin introduced me to them and they're so much better than the other jeggings.  The fabric is nice and thick, and they have an actual button and real pockets.  Plus, they're constantly on sale at lastcall.com - I got mine for $30 plus free shipping!

In case you're curious, they run pretty true to size.  I wear a 10 in most jeans and the large fits fine.

2. I said last week that I'm in love with the latest book I read, The Discovery of Witches.  This week, I literally squawked in excitement at my desk when I learned that it's going to be a movie.  Just in case the people at Warner Bros. are having trouble with the casting, here are my picks:

Diane Kruger will play Diana Bishop

Clive Owen will play Matthew Clairmont

Mila Kunis will play Miriam Shepard

Alex Pettyfer will play Marcus Whitmore

3. I love Will and Kate at the Olympics.

4. Doesn't this look like the easiest DIY?  Cork trivets + paint = bulletin board

5. If ever there were a perfect dress to wear to late summer/fall weddings, it would be this one from Piperlime.  For $89, it's quite a steal!  (P.S. If you're worried about a bra, you can do like I did and get a longline bustier from a bridal store for under $30 - they offer much more support than a bandeau!)

And with that, I bid you good weekend!

  1. Lol at ITC. I don't have that either. I'm leery of leggings, but the ones you bought sound really comfy.
